Okay, it’s my turn in the barrel for putting down 5 things. Some folks have given us nice, long, wonderful and insightful lists, such as Resto4Life and Kestrel.

Others have given us short, sweet and succinct lists with links to fun places, like Matticus, Exanimo, GirlMeetsWoW and of course the ones that started it all, Jon and Shelby from The Bronze Kettle. If I ever get some money, I’ll bid on one of your Charity icon auctions, guys. Honest. And anyone that ever links to John Gabriels‘ famous Theory gets a plate of virtual Big Bear brand cookies.

But Kestrel was nice enough to add me to his list of folks he wanted to see a list from, and so I have burnt irreplaceable brain cells towards this task.

1. No matter how much you loved the movie or movies… for all that’s holy, PLEASE don’t buy thegame!. Not that one either!
2. Except, of course, when… you know… you should.
3. The number of people that play WoW that are insane asshats is terrifying, and can make you want to quit playing for fear of becoming just like them. And they’d love to know you quit because of them.
4. The number of people that play WoW that are incredibly awesome is daunting, and can make you wonder if you’re smart enough, nice enough or skilled enough to hang out with them. But they welcome you, and encourage you to join in and have fun.
5. There are at least two points of view to every discussion… and sometimes both are right. There are very few people that go into an argument convinced they are wrong, but remain determined to argue and ruin your day anyway. The ones that do, we call Trolls.
