Really like the site. Glad I finally found it. I have had other Druid players tell me about it yet they all seemed to get the name wrong, forgetting “the” in the url.
On the subjects of wives and play time: Mine can’t say a thing as she introduced me to the game and plays twice as much as me…which explains why she has three level 70′s and I have one.
When it came to picking names for characters the process was just as long as deciding on what type to play( not for me, Druid was first choice). My main character Namonam is actual a nickname misspelled backwards. However, it now turns out to be Man o man backwards. I have a gnome mage that is fire spec and ” What is a pain in your arse?” why a Threeftflame. Well have fun with your names and be creative.

To know me is to know how much I luv fantasy role play. It started when I was a teenager playing Dungeons & Dragons (which I still play). WoW is like a never ending D&D night - Hoot.

Now, before I said the infamous "I do" to my lovely wife, I made it clear that I will always - ALWAYS play D&D and if she ever interfered, I'd kick her azz out (please dont tell her I just wrote this). Now, there have been some ruff ponits, but for the most part, she let if go without fuss.

Then WoW came along, and she got pissed. This wasn't once a week with the gang, oh no. This was an opportunity to do it every night, for hours on end.

I will say on the record, I love my wife. However, I really luv fantasy shit, and this game rocks. I did what I had to do in order to keep peace in the family. I invited my lovely wife to play, and helped her level and find stuff. AND since she loves Ebay, I showed her how to use the Auction House. Now, she has 2 70's (I only have 1), and she has numerous other toons well on the way.

I think I created a monster...

My son-in-law who also plays WoW a lot has had some challenges at times with his WoW widow. She actually destroyed his computer. Oh that was a dark day and one that will not be forgotten. “What dark times are these when passing WoW widows throw perfectly good computers out in the street?” (sighs)

As most of my posts are written while at work, I can confidently say that while my coworkers would get to know me on a more personal level, they are very grateful that I’m not a Big Bare Butt blogger.

By the time I get my shirt off, I’m often having several people calling security, and those guys just don’t have a sense of humor….

I’m betting what she heard was “Big Bare Butt”. Having a druid myself, I couldn’t see why she thought that, but a buddy of mine pointed out that not knowing the context, she would just be going on sound.
