Yes I know, I’m like 2 weeks late on the comment, but damnit there’s just way too many things in my RSS reader to keep up with anymore.

If you right-click on the CT2 icon (I use Fubar, assume it would work for the mini-map), go through the Group & Announce Settings submenus and uncheck anywhere that Locked is checked. Should bring them all back…

I have a question that some of you might be able to answer. It’s probobly pretty simple, but I’m at a loss trying to figure it out.
I’m using Cooldowntimers 2 and really like it. I’ve placed the cooldownbars on different parts of my screen and locked them in place (as it’s done when you first install it). My problem is that I can’t figure out how to “unlcok” them again so I can redesign my layout of the bars on my screen. Some of them are a bit overlapping and I’d like to clean it up.

I really hope there’s an easy though somewhat eluding solution to this

The only trick is that… its SUPER customizable and basically you will spend a week getting it the way you like. < .< Wowace forums has a couple people showing their setups for ideas/swiping though.

Nice to see your list as I begin to level my druid. I was worried there was secret druid Addons that I was unaware of. XD

I’ll second recommendations for Quartz. It’s not Ace2 but it’s almost a necessity for casters. For a tank, it would show incoming spells so you know when to interrupt or at least what’s going to hit you. The swing timer is also nice so you don’t have to button-mash.

Omen is better than KTM because it uses less memory and broadcasts less. It was built around a philosophy of minimalism, which is good for maintaining framerate.

If your healers are using VisualHeal, you might like to have it installed as well. It will show you incoming heals to help you decide whether to pop a potion.

I like BankItems, a lightweight Ace2 addon that will track what’s in your bank, the guild bank (as of your last visit), and the bags and banks of all your alts.

I’m not a fan of Recount/stat type add-ins. I think they create bad habits and misunderstandings between players

What it does is make another box beside your basic quest box that gives the basic XP gained, who you got the quest/ where you turn it in(and click on the name for basic coords!), etc. Then, you can click the little arrows at the bottom and it displays the comments people have left on that quest from Wowhead! Makes questing so much easier instead of having to tab out and look it up!

Outfitter - A highly recommended replacement for Item Rack (or Closet Gnome). While Outfitter isn’t naturally Ace’d, I recommend getting FuBar_OutfitterFu, which allows you to control it from your Fubar.

Deadly Boss Mods - As you said, BigWigs (and it’s little brother LittleWigs) is a very viable replacement for DBM, and it’s very easy to update using WAU.

SW Stats - As has been mentioned, Recount is an excellent Ace alternative (which also has a bunch more amazing features such as graphs and charts that can really help you out if you use them correctly).

Scrolling Combat Text - There’s an alternative coded by ckknight called Parrot which was designed to replace SCT. Also highly recommended.

If you get Recount (Preservation), you’ll want to tell your WoWAceUpdater to ignore Recount, as updating that will overwrite it with the original.
