I love the music from the video game Portal, I’ve mentioned it before.
But what Baron Soosdon did with his latest movie, the Portally-ness and the WoW-ness, and taking a hell like Gnomeregan and making me actually WANT to visit it again… it is just… it’s so…. it is pretty. Shiny. Run! Go see!

Heh. I has the “Joss Whedon is me master now” t-shirt. Can’t see movies during the daytimes, but I will check it out tonight before I Passes Judgement On Your BLASPHEMY
FAULK GNOMER!!!! My new favorite home is BRD – It’s big, its smart and there are plenty of PHAT LOOTZ!
I love Soosdon’s videos – his “Shake This” is something I go to when I just need to be cheered up. Totally awesome.
Okies, seen it now. Is pretty cool. Is it Restless cool? No, but I still likes.
o_O
Want more!
Hmm as awesome as that video was, how dare you take Whedon’s name in vein!?
I have to agree with ‘taking Whedon’s name in vein’ posse. Whedon is great.
But then Portal is also great. And Soosdon’s video is a treat indeed. It made me realize how much I enjoyed the whole Portal experience. The gnomer angle was nicely done and the video FX brought the whole thing together. Great stuff.
Now.. if you haven’t played Portal… and it’s Tuesday… what the hell are you doing reading this? Play Portal now.
Hah.
I intentionally used that title because of PvPOnline’s “Joss Whedon is my Master now” t-shirt, a shirt that I’ve thought about ordering more than a few times.

I like Joss Whedon a lot, he brought me Buffy, Angel, Firefly and… Alien:Resurrection, a movie I happened to enjoy a ton. Ok, so I loved badass Ripley, and I’ve loved Ron Perlman long before he did Hellboy, I was a big fan of his as Vincent in Beauty and the Beast.
Oooh, dark secret; years ago I had a CD Ron Perlman did, where he read poetry. Not his own poetry, just poetry he liked. It was a tie in to Beauty and the Beast, and the whole Vincent as a dark romantic figure thing. And I like poetry. Sue me. I enjoy audiobooks, if the reader has a strong voice, and Ron Perlman does.
Geez, Hellboy reads poetry. How the hell did I get here from talking about Joss Whedon?
You know, in truth, Ron Perlman is one of my favorite actors and voice performers of all time. You may only know him from Hellboy, where admittedly he does a masterful job, but he carried Beauty and the Beast for years, he was awesome in City of Lost Children, he did Alien:Resurrection, he was in Blade 2 (and I loved him in it, again:sue me), HEY! He was the voice of Slade from Teen Titans. I mean, come on. He rocks!
