I slept in til noonish. About 14 hours sleep.
I shudder to think how the ‘team’ handled today. But I’ll certainly find out tomorrow.
Why do I shudder?
Because we don’t buy things to build work cells. The ‘team’ fabricates them out of a material called Creform.
It is a very expensive full sized version of tinker toys.
And who, on our team, do you think has the only fabrication skills? Yep. Sad, really. Oh well, everyone is an equal member of the team, so I’m sure they got along just fine without me.
The ‘team’ fabricates the new tables, shelves, monitor stands, you name it, out of Creform.
Why, I hear the experts out there ask, don’t you use extruded aluminum? Wouldn’t it be easier to work with and have increased stability and a more professional appearance?
Yes, yes it would… but the guy that pushes these Kaizen things directed from the top down that teams are to use Creform, it’s what they’ve always used, so that’s how we do things in the plant.
Take that last sentence and superimpose it on a Kaizen modality. Then laugh.
Me, I’m going back to watching last night’s Hells Kitchen.

Woo for sleeping! Hope yer feelin better.
Not sure what Kaizer or crefood is but I’m hearing and nodding sagely about all the ‘working with people’ bits. /sigh
A question when you say “work cell” do you mean like a cubicle? This is what I’m imagining.

So the first thing I see when I google for ” Kaizen modality”… is this article. I found that hilarious.

Hey…this doesn’t really apply to your post, and I apologize for that, but I was hoping to get some feedback from someone that obviously knows much about druids. Here goes:
Ok, so..I’m sitting at 70 badges at the moment. I sometimes offtank trash and stuff in SSC/TK, but haven’t tanked any boss fights or anything like that. Sooo, here’s my question to you guys:
Should I buy the gloves (since I am starting to break up mt 4 piece t4 with my new legs anyways, and is cheaper), or the chest? Both would be average upgrades for me in both the tanking AND dps department. OR should I save up for the staff, which would be around a 300 attack power boost compared to the staff off illhoof?
Currently, I use vengeful and shadowprowler pieces as my chest equipment, and the t4 gloves for my hands. Thank you for any input you can provide.
Armory is Bandarno..think I’m the only one. I think I’m also currently logged out in my dps gear.

I lol’ed at your comment how Creform is used because someone at top decided that VS Kaizen and coming up with new ways through teamwork. That is why everyone hates team-efforts/team-building ‘exercises’ that are ‘ordered’ by the top. It is amazing how disconnected the ‘peons’ and ‘upper management’ are in every company on this planet. We had a ‘team-building’ exercise the other day: management decided we want to play golf. Well, nice and dandy, only that we were supposed to shell out the $50 fee ourselves. 3 out of 15 went.
/sigh.

.. oh and grats on the day off.

Wow, it sounds like the company has no idea what the hell they’re doing.
I’m sorry, team-building “exercises” are pointless. If you want to make people a team, here’s what I imagine would work;
Grab people without telling them. Proceed to put a random cross-section of people in a locked room that has a three-stage lock, each solved by a combination of levers, pulleys, and pressure plates, but with surmounting difficulty.
(Why yes, I do want to run a business’s team-building component as if it were Escape from Monkey Island, however did you guess?)

Grown up Lego! Way to go, B^3…
That’s a bit of bad Zen planning, only having one Fabricator in the sessions… I assume it’s something of a rare skill!
