To spend some time enjoying some damn fine writing, anyway.
I had an earlier comment on my other post, and the person was nice enough to include a link to their blog.
Now, I have said it before, I am horrible about following up emails, but I do try to check out the blogs or links people put in their comment signatures. And I add stuff to my feedreader all the time. I lurk, since I’m not really AT your blog, I’m just reading all your posts, but I’m there. Like a virus. (Oh wait, that was a Pump Up The Volume moment, sorry.)
Every time I see Black Undertide’s sig, for example, I wonder what damn blog that is, and go to their guild website…. again. And again. And again. Damn it! If you’re gonna put that as your comment sig address, at least give me a picture to lookat on the front page saying “Gotcha again, sucka!”. Or give me access to your guild forums to flame you back.
Something about the name Black Undertide just seems to scream “evil warlock blog”, or maybe it’s just me….
Anyway, so I had a comment from this lady, and went to go check out the blog….
I already love the writing. Just read the last few posts, and if this is the quality of writing and hilarious sense of humor she brings, then I’m going to be going back over the archives and having a blast. I really like it, and I feel like I’m learning a great deal from her point of view.
Oh, wait, you probably would like to know who the hell I’m talking about.
I’m talking about Chick GM, a blog written by Auzara that seems to focus on pointers and insight into being a Guild Master or officer for a WoW guild, and it rocks. Very, very hard. Lots of good stuff, interviewing possible new guild members, applications, just really nice.
I’m serious, I don’t know why I never seem to realize these great blogs are out until 8 months later, but there ya go… slow as hell to the party, that’s me.
Hey, Bre and Fim, you looking for a WoW writer to have as a guest, I’d love to hear about where Auzara is coming from. Some great stuff over there, I’d think she’d be a good guest to interview.
And no matter what class you play, we all end up in guilds, so her blog is actually relevent to everyone. Universal appeal, that’s the ticket!
Do yourself a favor, go and read and just have fun, she’s awesome.

And yes… the guild site was actually designed by someone who plays an evil horde warlock. Fits quite appropriately!
