I am in the Coast Guard, and I had a similar experience in “a” school (Technical school for becoming a petty officer[that's what we call corporals on the water]) Anywho, two nights before graduation, rooms squared away, with visions of pints floating through our heads, we proceeded to the ‘E’ club… I remember it was Karaoke night. That’s where things get fuzzy. Two of my classmates and I woke up arournd 0645 atop the CO’s gobbmint vehicle, with a visiting Master Chief coming to with his head tucked in the wheel well. They still tell that story as a what NOT to do.

Good story, made me laugh especially when you got to the part where they were MP’s because I was an MP in the Army. I have some great stories from my time in Korea. One time I woke up drunk in a burning rice field with the base dental hygenist. Good times.

Man.. I played around with the idea of joining the military back when I was fresh out of college.. never did though. Now I kind of wish I had, because between you and BRK, you two have some awesome stories!

One thing to be sure of, not too much pledge on the floor. We tried that once and buffed it out with a laundry bag under an electric floor buffer…bad idea. The inspector actually slipped because it was so slick – we got dinged. Agreed, it sticks in your mind when you fail the inspection.

Amen to that. When I was 25 I promised myself that if I saw 50 I would get inked in celebration (got it finished last night!) . Although BBB did a lot more time in the military, I did manage to survive being in my 20s in Miami during the 80′s. So I completely understand the wonder of survival
