MMM vested interest in a game….maybe I play way too much!

Watched Suitcase Cars and Paintball Tanks today!

Oh well, I’ll wait and see what happens.

I spent my patch day catching up on blogs, (calmly) browsing my prospective new talent tree and organizing my bookmarks folder. The sky isn’t falling over here.

And I know what you mean about the Kurken. I don’t like the other Core Hounds at all, but the Kurken just looks so .. detailed, as you said. And friendly somehow.

While it *is* slightly disappointing to not be able to play the patch until tomorrow thanks to those wonderful things called night class and early class, I’m not too much worried about it. Just means I can escape the rush of “Woe is us…” and worse in Trade channel.

As always, entertaining and informational as usual.

As a side note…I agree with The Kurken comment you made. After browsing Mania’s wonderfully updated site, I momentarily thought on respeccing BM for the sake of taming The Kurken (he’s so cool looking!). But I like my MM/Surv hybrid just as well. My little Rajah will suffice well enough.

I spent about an hour just browsing Petopia, and reading your FAQs, and marveling anew at the neatness.

Moonclaw the Ghost Saber is, as always, giong to be my first and only bestest friend.

But I’m thinking, taming The Kurken would be very fun, just because he has such a Valhalla look to him. I only wish there were a snow wolf as awesomely detailed with all the trimmings, instead of Mr Two Head.

But Moonclaw is going to have a talent tree! I am sooo stoked.

I believe that your interpretation is correct, and I posted something to that effect myself on Arcania. Either way, we’ll see soon enough.

But I’m afraid the truth is that people enjoy panicking on patch day. Ah, well .. I guess we all enjoy ourselves in our own ways. :>

There are people at the other end of the patch spectrum as well. Those that don’t have clue what is coming. That’s right. There are plenty of people that are playing this game that have not even looked at a blog, beta forum, talent tree, etc. that mentions the upcoming changes. In fact last night, I helped 2 Feral druids with their lvl 70 talent trees. They don’t really care all that much about the min/max stuff, they just have fun playing with their friends. We had multiple players in last night’s Mags run (last chance for folks to get the Champion of whatever title) that had no idea about the new buff system, inscription (and glyphs), dual-specs, game mechanics (+spell, +heal), etc. And you know what, they will enjoy the game, probably more than those of us that fret over every minor detail.

FWIW, I’m gonna level inscription (if I can) over the next couple of nights just to allow things to settle a bit before I go run off and solo heroic shattered halls using swipe spam and berserk’d mangles.
