Chris, I’m not really apologizing for having the sense of humor, or for displaying it. As you can see, I posted it. :)

No, my concern and desire to apologize to folks is directed at those nice people that may never have heard of or seen this blog before, but recently saw a link to the Raid for the Cure post, and came to offer their support or to find more details on the event.

The event is not a Big Bear Butt thing, it’s a community event. I’m just one spokesperson and organizer, from among MANY. The Sidhe Devils may have started it, but it’s moving beyond those bounds, and a lot of people are showing support and encouragement.

On the one hand, I’m still me and will continue to do my thing, but on the other, I’d really rather not offend or disturb the sensibilities of folks that came here looking to help or support the effort.

Hooah. I have to also laugh at stories like these (e.g. man gets armed ripped off by bear while reaching in cage, etc.). Keep up the good work.
