Look like there is a bright future here on The Big Bear Butt. Even if the site morphs into the Little Red Wagon of Fantasy or something else. I am very excited by the possibilities of internet and fiction. Wow Insider did a small article about Dan Jolley so I clicked the link. http://www.redeemerslaw.com Mr. Jolley was putting a "chapter" on his website twice a week. I was very disappointed when the installments were late and they were late kind of often. The chapters were from a book he had written many moons before that had never been seen out of a circle of friends. To me the best part was the author’s comments after each installment. Dan talked about what he did and did not like about what he had written, so wonderfully personal even vulnerable. I have read along with the book being reveled on this site. You had the good sense to not give yourself a deadline, very smart. Then this morning the small description of the lover unable to pretend that his unrequited love had ever had any possibility, sent chills down my spine. Just because you know something does not mean you have the emotional capacity to handle it. I have often thought telepathy would be more of a curse than a power, unless there was a cultural guidance from birth on how to handle it. But to have it thrust upon you, wow no thanks. It is my intention to severely limit my WoW time after I help deliver justice to The Lich King. That just me of course (the new five mans were really fun). I need to get back to the woodshop, maybe take the laptop to the coffee shop and see what happens.

Bear, if you like stories about special abilities, sci-fi and all that jazz, might i recommend the psi-corps trilogy of Babylon 5 books.

These center around the character Bester, who is a psi-cop. (played in the tv series by Walter Koenig, the same actor that plays checkov in the original star trek)

Dark Genesis: The Birth of the Psi Corps
Deadly Relations: Bester Ascendant
Final Reckoning: The Fate of Bester

IMO he plays a much better semi-bad guy as Bester, than he did in STTOS. Bester is a master of playing both sides of a conflict against each other. Tends to follow the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" approach for as long as his enemy is alive.
.-= Kattrinsaa´s last blog ..<a href="http://boomtank.wordpress.com/2009/11/30/a-baby-boomkin-is-born/" rel="nofollow">A Baby Boomkin is Born</a> =-.

Morph, wouldn't have changed the name, probably would have just faded away into nothingness, consumed by the sadness of loss. Or something.

And now, off to brave the blizzard to spend the next four hours driving home. Take care!

I had that idea for a series about 1986, 1987. What I envisioned was a Gold Eagle line of stories, actually, if you're familiar with the The Executioner, The Destroyer, Able Team size novels where I could have one book be one cool mission, with the larger story driving the entire series. I figures I could get a dozen episodic fun non-typical stories in there very well, and have a lot of fun with it.

I love the final line. I gotta say, I'd almost forego reading your blog for a while so that you could put together the Psychic Wars book sooner rather than later, it sounds awesome. A quick question before I have to begrudginly return to work as well, if in fact you had left Sidhe Devils what would you have renamed the podcast?
