Jessie has a voice of her own, and thanks to the way manny has of getting into a character’s head, I think she’s a very honest character to herself.

With the baron, I hear his voice in my head… but he’s a lot smarter than I am. And writing the thoughts and worldview of someone that is outright smarter than me is exhausting… I have to really try and take what Melpo/James gives me, take the character sheet, get completely out of my own head and try and see things from his point of view. He’s very challenging, but long term I have HUGE hope for him. His personality and his character development have the potential to really bust the story out in the right opportunity… and Terin is all about making opportunities where nobody else sees them.

I don’t need a reply now, I’m only halfway through. One thing you can see from your list, though, is that there won’t be more scouts or bodies assigned to come with you… having Mikkelson come with is still entirely up to you, you could decide to send him on to the capter house as being unsuited to the stress of this new challenge, or choose to keep him with for many different reasons, and if keeping him with you, can choose what to tell him of the true reasons for the mission, if anything, you think right. I’m still going with the last action item on your turn reply, that you wanted to take Mikkelson with you and question him further on the journey into the mountains about his family and his beliefs to try and get a better feel for him.
