I’ve been playing on a Mac since the dawn of WoW and have never been able to use the Model Viewer. I wanted to so badly when I was blogging, but screen shots sufficed. Now, now that I’m playing on a PC laptop, I can play with the Model Viewer. I just downloaded it, loaded & saved Mama Druid and may never log in to WoW again! :)

But still I stand by my first statement… horde to the core… saying that, I want to get Tier 6 for Pally tauren and Tier 6 for my priest because my priest looked good!

When is the next Raid for Heart? I must admit I may have missed it but Ive been a bit slack for reading blogs as of late… too much on that some days I cant get through what I normaly do before its bedtime.

I found that in the Model Viewer but didn’t see where it’s identified so I could go farm it. That’s far and away my favorite shield. Many thanks for pointing out which one it is! (Tangentially, where is it identified in the ModelViewer? I’m probably just not seeing it because I’m sleep deprived.)

…it’s almost enough to make me want to play my Tauren Paladin again. The road from 15 to 80 can’t be that long, can it?

I only wish I could get it for my F2P Dwarf Paladin. Alas.

You may be interested to know that on the “pretty graphics / transmogging” side of things, the Melting Pot currently has a project going in our skunkworks (so to speak). When I’m not MMO blogging, I’m a animation director, and I think we can raise the bar a fair bit in terms of previews, WoW fashion, and general prettiness…

We’re looking for popular outfits to feature first, so I’ll be keeping this post bookmarked – thanks.

True story, both Cassie and I still have our Blackened Defias sets on our leather wearers. Cassies rogue also has the bandanna, I believe. Plus scout pauldrons. We have always liked matching sets too!

Anj over at Revive and Rejuvenate has a good visual guide to the Druid options

I have set up a couple – 1 for my paladin and two for my druid. The biggest trouble I’ve had is
a) finding a weapon I like on my druid – was a bit frustrating because I have a polearm (Ranseur’s) not a staff at present that I’m not expecting to upgrade and time soon (wtb fire kitty staff!)
and b) more frustrating is find an all black, long cloak!

One tip for the wowhead links from the guides that I found out too late – you can click on the the little arrow on the set comparison and there is a View in 3D button.

Feral druid – I love the Comfortable Leather Hat – I wish I could find an equivalent plate option.

Paladin – this one is all about the shield… I love that shield and realised it matched well with the Tier 11 gear I have (and I like) – now if only it would drop for me – I’ve started running EoE weekly for it (thankfully it can be easily 6 manned – or even less). Not sure about the helm – not quite the same blue – but if I’m not convinced I generally go without helm anyway.
