I’m Janice Wallace, and The Big Bear Butt is where curiosity, humor, and a bit of chaos collide. Why the name? Because life is too short not to have fun with it. Because ideas, much like bears, can be big, unpredictable, and occasionally ridiculous. And because sometimes, the best way to approach the world is with a little irreverence and a lot of curiosity.
This blog isn’t about one thing, and that’s exactly the point. One day, I might be diving into a weird historical event; the next, sharing an opinion I can’t keep to myself. Some posts are deep, some are nonsense, and some just exist because I felt like writing them.
I started The Big Bear Butt to explore the things that make me stop and think—or laugh—or both. No structure, no rigid theme, just whatever grabs my attention and refuses to let go.
